AA in Anchorage

The Primary Purpose Group of Anchorage, Alaska

AA meetings on the ANMC Campus

Monday and Friday, 6:30pm to 8pm in the Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC) at 4315 Diplomacy Drive, located 600 feet northeast of Tudor Road at Bragaw Street.

These meetings focus on learning and practicing the AA 12-Step Program of Recovery presented in the Basic Text of Alcoholics Anonymous - everything from the Foreword to Page 164 plus the Appendices in the back of the Big Book. We talk about the solution, not war stories and the problem du jour - no drunkalogs or talk of the day's complaints.

Primary Purpose "Hyannis Rotation" Big Book Step Study meetings on the UAA Campus

Please join us every Tuesday on the UAA campus - the University of Alaska - Anchorage from 1:00pm to 2:00pm in BMH 215.

By attending these meetings, you will learn Alcoholics Anonymous’ 12-step program of recovery from alcoholism —- learn why and how to take action that allows alcoholics to know happiness, peace, and usefulness in a way of life that becomes incredibly more wonderful as time passes.

Our goal is to put the AA 12-Step Program of Recovery into practice by studying, discussing and applying everything in the basic text of Alcoholics Anonymous – the “Big Book”. We put our knowledge to work, practicing the principles of the A.A. 12-Step program of recovery in ALL our affairs.
