Father Mychal Judge, Chaplain of the NY Fire Department, died September 11, 2001 at the World Trade Center while helping others. The 68-year old friar had removed his helmet and knelt by a firefighter to give last rites when debris struck him in the head
One firefighter had a lovely theory: "I just think God wanted somebody to lead the guys to heaven."
